01/20/10 — Phew. Finished. Final unblocked measurements: 58” × 6”. I’ll soak it in wool wash and block it tonight.
01/14/10 — The scarf seems narrow (approx. 6” wide) but I hope that blocking will relax it and make it much wider. I’m also almost at the halfway mark… but that’s only because I hope it’ll get longer with blocking. (Ah, the magic of blocking!)
01/13/10 — After many failed attempts at other lace patterns, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. (I didn’t realize that YO was just the “yarn over” part; I thought it included a K1, too.) I decided on this pattern because it’s so pretty! And I love cables with no actual cables ;) [img]
