I knit until the width looked good enough. Asked the boyfriend to eyeball it for me because I’ve never met his cousin’s daughter. (Or this particular cousin, for that matter.) Then bound off, which was tricky. I cannot, for the life of me, bind off loosely using the traditional bind off method. I even tried sizing my needle up (to US 8) and still it’s tight! Ah, well. I soaked the cowl in warm water with a few drops of hair conditioner and am now in the process of gently blocking it to help loosen up the edges as well as straighten my stitches. Hoping for the best! :pray::skin-tone-4:
