Millennium Falcon
2/21/12 — Added photos. One I took of my boyfriend wearing the scarf… and the other one he took with his fancypants camera/lights/etc. The color is more correct in the fancy photo, of course. (Oh! The name refers to the shape of the scarf when worn like a bandana/bandit neckerchief, a la Photo #2. Mr. Boyfriend said it reminds him of the Millennium Falcon. I don’t disagree.)
2/20/12 — Bound off last night around midnight, nodding off every once in a while. Soaked it, laid it out to dry, and it’s looking good today! It seemed kinda small last night (both length- and width-wise) but it’s definitely grown. I followed the pattern exactly, only mod was carrying color B along the side instead of breaking it. I weighed the leftover yarn and I still have 54g of Persia and 33g of Chocolate Amargo.
2/16/12 — I’m quite pleased with it so far. I’m not used to knitting with sock-weight yarn, though, so I’m frustrated with how slowly it’s going. Hehe. (I uploaded a crappy phone photo from my desk at work. ‘Cause that’s how I roll.)
2/14/12 — First time working with Malabrigo and first time knitting a Stephen West pattern. If this goes well, I may be in trouble: both are pricey!
