2023-11-02: Woohoo! All the ends have been woven in! The I-cord edges are great for hiding tails :shushing_face:
2023-11-01: Bedridden with COVID-19 so I managed to finish knitting the thing! When counting the sections, I only see 11 of them but I’m pretty sure I knit 12 sections :shrug: So many ends to weave in :zany_face:
2023-10-30: Stopped after completing the first repeat of rows 21-28 in section 12.
2023-10-29: Picked this up again after 9 months :grimacing: (If I can finish this by November 11, I’ll gift it to my aunt visiting from St. Petersburg.) Using yarns B and E for another pattern repeat. Stopped after completing the first repeat of rows 1-8 in section 12.
2023-02-02: Stopped after completing the second repeat of rows 21-28 in section 11.
2023-01-29: Stopped after completing the first repeat of rows 21-28 in section 11.
2023-01-28: Using yarns D and F to make an extra section. Stopped after completing the first half of what is now section 11.
2023-01-25: Stopped after completing the first repeat of rows 21-28 of section 10. I will definitely need to do at least 2 more sections to get it anywhere near its expected dimensions.
2023-01-24: Stopped after completing two repeats of rows 1-8 of section 10.
2023-01-23: Stopped after completing section 9. My wingspan only measures ~44” at the moment so I’ll probably do two extra sections after the prescribed 10—but I’ll have to measure as I go to be sure. (My tape measure, though, finally crapped out after ~13 years of service so that won’t be as fun.)
2023-01-22: Stopped after completing section 8.
2023-01-20: Stopped after completing one repeat of rows 21-28 in section 7.
2023-01-19: Stopped after completing section 6.
2023-01-18: Stopped after completing the first part of section 6.
2023-01-17: Stopped after completing section 5.
2023-01-16: Stopped after completing the first part of section 4.
2023-01-15: Used the Long Tail Cast On. Flew through sections 1 and 2 but the night wore on and I started making mistakes :zany_face: Calling it a night after getting through the first repeat of rows 21-28 of section 3.
