Spruce Tree Mittens
01/2?/12 — Ripped and used the yarn to knit a hat.
01/12/12 — So it’s been over a year that this has been a WIP. I think it’s time to put it in hibernation mode… or frog entirely :\
12/30/10 — Brought in the one mitten to work so recipient could try it on. Glad I did! It’s too big for her hands. (Fit fine on mine. I didn’t think her hands were that much smaller.) Gives me an excuse to rip back the grafted edge and try a different decrease technique. (I don’t like the boxy look. I want a more rounded mitten.)
12/26/10 — Cast on for my first pair of mitts! Very exciting :D ETA (12:11 AM): Finished the left mitten. (First time doing kitchener stitch to close the mitten!) The thumb is kinda wide. I may rip it back and do some gradual decreases to slim it down and shape it. The BO makes it look pointy, too, so I may try to fix that.
